December 14, 2012, held at the Mango Hills Garden Cafe, San Pedro, Laguna, the dream fairytale-like wedding came to life, and my Tito Sonny Boy Mata and my now Tita-in-law, Tita Ana Antonio, shared their vows and embraced each other to be as one :)
For the past 5 years of their relationship, Tito Sonny and Tita Ana shared a beautiful path of life with each other. A path that's filled with joy and love and also with tears and mourns. Their journey together and even on the courting days is indeed cute and lovely and as I call it; "very novel". Our family, the whole UBCC and God are the biggest witnesses to their unusual love story.
But all throughout the things that their relationship faced, it only made them not just stronger but bolder, not just better but greater, not just faithful but believing and not just loving but trusting. And even though they almost ended up their journey as one, they still both made on the same path to reach the door of the beginning of their newest life as Mr. and Mrs. Mata :)
Their dream wedding is not just special for them, accidentally, it had also been very special for the Mata family. We really thought of Tito Sonny becoming a "matandang binata" ;) But God just simply knows when to touch a man's heart and make him fall in love with the girl who (like what Tita Ana said on her vows) will fill his "missing tadyang". And God just simply knows when to hit a woman's head and make her crazy meeting her prince charming and be (like what Tito Sonny said on her vows) the "missing ingredient" of that prince's recipe of life :) Their wedding also became a way of rebonding and reconciliation for the Mata family. The family reunion and the family spirit really flowered all over us. A lone time-haven't seen family member celebrated with us, a tighter family bond came with us and a newly found love and brotherhood\sisterhood among the Zenaida Mata siblings bloomed and prospered.
So by now, we already know that this upcoming Christmas, we will all celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with joyous and welcoming hearts :) And lastly, I know that the newest Mr and Mrs Mata of the family will always be blessed and guided by God.
